Ground Transport Forum attendees will have access to regular busses between the airport, Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge and select other hotels in the area. Busses will be clearly marked and travel regularly (approximately every 30 minutes) between the venues between the hours of 8AM and 5PM.
Airport transferswill be carried out as per delegates request which is indicated upon registration .There will be an AGRF Transfer desk at the airport to assist with transfer coordination

Taxis from the airport and all major hotels are alsoplentiful and cost-effective.Expect to pay no more than Tsh 8,000 (approximately $ 5 USD) for a trip within town at any time of the day. Car hire is possible though most companies prefer to provide their own drivers.
Flight Arusha is served by two airports. Kilimanjaro International Airport (IATA: JRO) has regular flights to Amsterdam with KLM, and to Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Nairobi. Kilimanjaro Airport is approximately 60 km (45 min) from the city centre. Arusha Municipal Airport (ARK) is on the outskirts of the city but runs domestic flights, mostly to Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam.
Visas Visitors to Tanzania must be in possession of a valid passport. The passport is to be presented to the Immigration Control Officer at any entry point. All foreigner guests from non-Commonwealth countries are also required to have a valid visa unless their countries have agreements with Tanzania under which the visa requirement is waived. Visas for all visitors can be purchased at Kilamanjaro International Airport or select other points of entry.
Exemptions: Citizens of Commonwealth countries are not required to obtain visas unless they are citizens of the United Kingdom, Canada, Nigeria, or India.
Please note: A visitor must also present an onward or return ticket together with proof that the visitor has sufficient funds to support himself or herself while in Tanzania.
